Introduction

Navigation, especially on mobile apps, is a topic that not a lot of makers pay attention to. It is a huge part of user experience which, in turn, increases user adoption. Having too many buttons on a screen of a mobile app can make it very cluttered. One key button, which has its use on every screen in an app, is the back button. That is, a button to take the user back to the previous screen. Sure you can add a back button on each screen, either at the top or at the bottom but there is a more seamless approach, on Android devices at least.
