Introduction
When I started with Power Apps, I thought the number of formulas at my disposal would be a small number. I mean, Power Apps being a low code platform, shouldn't need that many formulas, correct? Well, I was wrong! Power Apps has more than 170 formulas (173 to be exact)!
Tip - Formula reference!
If you think about it, it makes all the more sense for a low code platform to have so many formulas available. You may ask why? Because the more formulas at our disposal, the less code we have to write. So anyways, how do I know the exact number? A few months ago, I started working on a project focused on the different formulas that are available in Power Apps. The Formula Reference on Microsoft Docs (found here) is a great place to learn the different ones that are available but it doesn't let you get hands on with them. So I created an app which let's you play around with them with your inputs, and allows you to search based on keywords. For example, if you enter "random" (to generate a random number) as the search text, it will show Shuffle and Rand!
