Wrap Count – How to change the layout of Power Apps galleries

Introduction

If there is one control I like the most in Power Apps, its the gallery control. If you think about it, most native apps use galleries. For example, WhatsApp is nothing but a gallery of chat records. A chat is nothing but a gallery of messages. There are two basic layouts - vertical and horizontal. In the vertical layout, records are listed one below the other. Whereas in the horizontal layout, records are listed next to each other from left to right. One property that I feel isn't that "known", is wrap count.

Tip - Wrap Count

While vertical galleries have multiple rows of data in one column, you can have more than one column. Similarly, while horizontal galleries have multiple columns in one row, you can have more than one row. The way to achieve these layouts is by modifying the wrap count of the galleries using the WrapCount property.
